Welcome! I am a graduate student in the School of Meteorology at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma.
This is the new launch of my old website www.storm3000.com, so there may still be some broken links in the menu during the transition.
Since I am a meteorologist, the main features of this site are as follows:
- Research - description of my current and previous research projects.
- Storm Chasing - detailed chase logs and photos from my storm chases.
- Weather Forecasting - a compilation of online sources of real-time data that I use for tropical cyclone and severe convective storm forecasting.
- Original Lecture Notes - notes that I've created for meteorology courses that I have taught as well as individual lectures on various other topics.

However, as much as meteorologists are sometimes known to be (overly) interested in the weather, we are human, and I do have other interests. I'm always game for some good backpacking, hiking, camping, kayaking, sailing...pretty much anything outdoors. If I come across anything cool, I will add those to the Adventures page. I am also a pianist and trumpeter, so at some point, I may also add a music page on my free time.
